Kwang Ho is just like a spirit (traveling 30 years into the future) to resolve and catch the murders culprit(s). My guess is, once all the mysteries have been resolved Kwang Ho will just died and Not traveling back to 30 years ago to save his loved ones. The other characters just aged accordingly, after 30 years. From episode 1 to episode 8, the only person traveled through time is Kwang Ho, and this happened only once and only to him alone.
